What to expect
Please have your Veterinarian appointment scheduled prior to pick up . You will also need to make sure that your Veterinarian will provide aftercare of ear cropping if done prior to pick up (suture removal and posting if needed).
A crate is required in the car in order to pick up your puppy. It is a safe space for the puppy to decompress while on his/her way to their new forever home.
What the puppy receives in my home:
- Tails Docked
- Dew Claws removed
- Dewormed (started at the age of two weeks. On week 7, the stool is tested and receives one more dewormer at 8 weeks).
- First set of vaccines
- Microchip
- ENS per puppy culture protocol
- Crate training
- Potty training initiated
All families will be sent home with a care package. The care package includes:
- A starter bag of food the puppy is on for transitioning
- Blanket
- Toy
- Puppy profile packet
- AKC limited registration paperwork
- Copy of pedigree
I strongly suggest purchasing a grass pad and mat to leave by your front door of your home so the puppy knows where to go when it is potty time.
